Colour Burst

Materials

• A large white surface to work on: a blank wall, three big sheets of cardboard stood up as walls, or a giant cardboard rainbow cut out
• Liquid watercolours in glass jars (for the wall version)
• Tempera or poster paint (for the cardboard versions)
• A range of brushes, including big wide ones, plus foam rollers and sponges
• Drop sheets for the floor and anything nearby
• Painter's tape for masking edges or a clean rainbow shape (optional)
• A craft knife for cutting cardboard
• Aprons or old clothes
• Buckets of water and cloths for rinsing
